Dance Filmmakers: Apply for Dance On Camera Festival 2009
Aug 16th, 2008 | By Blog Editor | Category: Auditions & Upcoming EventsOne of exciting things about dance today is how easy it is to share performances. And we have to thank dance filmmakers for their help in spreading an appreciation for dance.
Now, the Dance Films Association (DFA) asks, once again, that dance filmmakers submit their best works for the annual Dance On Camera Festival. Films selected for the 2009 festival will premiere at the Walter Reade Theater in New York City in January, 2009.
The DFA seeks a variety of submissions, including dance made for the camera, documentary, adaptations of stage works, site-specific creations, and even animations and other demonstrations of rhythmic design. You can find more details in the DFA’s call for entries at this link.
