Surface Area Dance Theatre presents their new creation Nullius, a work of poetic dance, film, and music produced in collaboration with visual artist Benjamin Freeth.

Inspired by Ovid’s mythological transformations, adventurous nymph-like creatures enchant weak souls and bind them to distant fairytale lands. “A succession of visceral film scenes” engender this work’s ethereal setting, a place of intrigue, enchantment, danger and abandonment.

Nullius features an international cast and an original score by Burroughs & Legget. Sally Jayne Smallwood designed costumes for this work.
