Contemporary dance company dre.dance (Andrew Palermo and Taye Diggs) and composer Rob Reddy premiere their evening-length work the people. This interpretive narrative work weaves together choreography, live compositions, and historical text to illuminate socio-political issues. Loosely set at a party, the people tracks the interactions of various American political factions, from evangelical right to radical left.

New Met presents its annual season at the Odeon Theatre, beginning October 9. This year, New Met introduces Test Drive, a dance work in which six choreographers “test drive” their ideas. This program also includes New Met’s annual dance drama Something Wicked, a show that promises fright and excitement for people of all ages.
